Help that starts with listening

Most families arrive at Eman Clinic carrying the same two things: a worry they have had for a while, and a pile of conflicting advice. Our first job is to listen properly, assess carefully, and then tell you clearly what we see โ€” including when the answer is that your child is developing perfectly well.

When therapy is needed, it is delivered by qualified professionals, in a room set up for children, with goals you helped choose and progress you can actually see. When it is not needed, we will say so.

And because Shining Star School shares the building, therapy does not have to sit in isolation. Skills learned in a session can be practised in a classroom the same morning.

Not sure which service you need? You do not have to work that out on your own. Describe what you have noticed and we will point you to the right assessment.
Early is better than perfect. Waiting to see whether a child “grows out of it” costs time that is hard to recover. An early conversation is low-cost and often deeply reassuring.
What we offer

Our Services

Seven specialist therapy services, one unified clinical team. Each discipline is designed to foster autonomy and confidence.

When to get in touch

Things parents often notice first

None of these mean something is wrong. All of them are worth a conversation.

  • Not talking yet, or talking much less than other children the same age
  • Speech that people outside the family cannot understand
  • Frequent meltdowns, or distress that is very hard to settle
  • Difficulty sitting, listening or following simple instructions
  • Late to sit, crawl or walk, or moving in an unusual way
  • Avoiding other children, or struggling to play alongside them
  • Trouble with buttons, spoons, pencils or other everyday skills
  • Falling behind with reading, writing or numbers at school

Findings & plan

We explain what we found in plain language and agree goals with you โ€” not for you.

Therapy & review

Regular sessions, home strategies, and a formal review so you can see what has changed.

Good to know

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

No. Families can contact us directly. If a medical referral or report already exists, bring it along โ€” it helps, but it is not required.

Plan for around an hour. That gives the therapist time to work with your child and to talk with you properly afterwards.

In most cases yes, and for younger children we actively want you there. Where a therapist asks for a short period alone with your child, they will explain why.

Almost never. Most children work towards specific goals and then move to review appointments or discharge. We will always tell you when we think support can be reduced.

Yes, with your consent. Sharing strategies with class teachers is one of the most effective things we can do.
